WEBSITE DESIGN, BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN
We’ve just launched another new website, this time for dry eye specialists My Dry Eyes. Based in Keighley, Yorkshire, and Marlborough, Wiltshire, they offer expert treatment and support to help people manage and treat dry eye syndrome.
My Dry Eyes is a new venture by two opticians who are long-time website clients of ours. Having previously created their websites Airedale Opticians and Jaqueline Burns Opticians, it was lovely to work with them both again.
BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN
As My Dry Eyes is a brand-new venture, we got to start from scratch, creating their branding including the colour scheme, fonts and logo. This is something we are well versed in; most of our website builds include creating, updating or redesigning logos. Creating strong brand identities plays a crucial role in ensuring a website feels cohesive.
For this website, we focused on creating a clean, modern, and professional design. By carefully utilising white space and high-quality imagery, we aimed to build trust with visitors that this is a specialist company.
MEGA MENU SYSTEM
With over 25 pages of content, the website is designed to be a helpful resource for anyone wanting to understand more about dry eye syndrome. Whether it be what causes it, how it can be treated, and what to expect from a consultation.
To make it easy for users to find what they’re looking for amongst the many different pages, we utilised a mega menu system. This menu layout ditches the long lists typically found on website menus and organises information into clear categories. It also allowed us to fully brand the menu in line with the rest of the site, utilising features such as icons, so visitors can navigate the site quickly and easily.
WEBSITE FEATURES
A real challenge with this site was breaking down the large amount of information to keep it engaging. As well as adding videos, this site was a great opportunity to incorporate engaging design features, such as interactive hotspots that reveal additional information when you hover over an image.
However, the new website isn’t just a place to learn about dry eye; it’s also a way for visitors to take the first steps towards treatment. Patients can book assessments online and even fill out pre-appointment forms to make the consultation process smoother.
We hope this new site provides a space where people can easily access reliable advice and helps drive visitors to both branches’ dry eye clinics. Good luck to My Dry Eyes!
